We’re Julia and Michał — two Poles on a mission to prove that Poland is way more than pierogis and vodka. (Okay, the pierogis are incredible. And the vodka’s not bad either. But there’s so much more.)
I’m from Poznań, a city where people argue about whether rogale świętomarcińskie are a pastry or a religion. Michał is from Żary, a small town in western Poland that most Poles haven’t heard of, which he’ll remind you gives him „underdog street cred.” Together, we’ve spent years exploring every corner of this country, from Baltic beaches to mountain trails, and we want to share it all with you.
Our goal? To help you plan an actual great trip to Poland, with honest tips, real costs, and none of that generic „Europe’s hidden gem” nonsense.
We’ll tell you where to eat, what to skip, and why you need a drożdżówka (a Polish sweet bun) in your life more than you need another croissant. Yes, that’s a hill we’re willing to die on.
Oh, and we travel with Baks — our dog, adventure buddy, and self-appointed quality inspector of every park, forest, and lake in Poland. He has strong opinions about hiking trails and zero opinions about historical monuments, but we love him anyway.
